Cookie Policy
The short answer: PDFsy doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. This page explains exactly what we store and why.
Last updated: October 2026.
1. What a cookie is (and what we use instead)
A cookie is a small text file that a website can store in your browser. In practice, PDFsy doesn't set traditional cookies — we use the browser's local storage (localStorage), a similar technology that is kept only on your device and, unlike a classic cookie, is never automatically sent to any server with each request.
2. What we store
- Your cookie choice — whether you accepted or rejected in the banner, so we don't ask you again on every visit.
- Occasional technical preferences for some tools (for example, the last option chosen in a form), where applicable, purely to make the tool quicker to use.
None of this is used to track you across sites, build an advertising profile or identify you personally. This data stays exclusively on your device.
3. Third-party cookies
PDFsy pages load fonts from Google Fonts and code libraries from the cdnjs network so that the tools work. These services may set their own technical cookies, outside our direct control, as part of the normal delivery of those resources. PDFsy does not use, read or share those cookies.
4. How to manage your choice
You can change your mind at any time by clicking "Manage cookies" at the bottom of any page on the site, or by clearing your browser's browsing data (in the browser's own privacy settings).
